In an address to the nation this evening, interim Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad apologised to Malaysians for the current political crisis.
However, he indicated that he is willing to return as prime minister if he receives enough support from members of Parliament.
Meanwhile, Pakatan Harapan has confirmed that it has nominated Anwar Ibrahim as the next prime minister instead of Mahathir.
